Learning Outcomes:
At the completion of this course, learners will:
- Learn about a high-risk method which is commonly used to help a person sit up on the side of the bed.
- Learn about 3 safe methods that carers can use to help a person sit up on the side of the bed when they can assist.
- Learn how to use aids to assist such as bed sticks, and the electric backrests of the bed to help a person sit up on the side of the bed.
