At the completion of this course, learners will:
- Learn about 4 high-risk methods that are commonly used to move a person from a wheelchair to the toilet.
- Learn about 3 safe methods that carers can use to move a person from a wheelchair to the toilet when the person can assist them with the lift.
- Learn about a safe method that carers can use to move a person from a wheelchair to the toilet when the person cannot assist them with the lift.
