Tap into Safety were today announced as finalists in the Emerging Business Excellence Category of the Australian Institute of Management in Western Australia (AIM WA) West Business Pinnacle Awards. The awards recognise the exemplary business leadership of individuals, teams and organisations in the Western Australian community.
The AIM WA WestBusiness Pinnacle Awards reward outstanding organisations across the corporate, government, community and not-for-profit sectors in Australia that have a significant footprint in Western Australia. The Awards showcase outstanding business leadership and achievements by organisations across all sectors and industries. They say “thank you” for the contribution to Western Australian business and to the wider society. The AIM WA WestBusiness Pinnacle Award for Emerging Business Excellence recognises organisations that have been operating for less than five years and in that time have advanced as leaders in their field.
Category winners get to give back to the community and will be presented with $10,000 in cash to donate to a charity of their choice. If Tap into Safety are winners we will be donating the cash to Lifeline WA who are in need of telephone counsellors to assist the WA community who are experiencing mental health issues. Lifeline WA’s mission is to prevent suicide, support people in crisis and create equal opportunities for emotional wellbeing. It costs $4,000 to train a crisis support volunteer so the cash prize will help a little in their mission. Every 32 seconds someone in Australia calls lifeline for support with over 55,000 West Australians making a call every year.
We are really excited to become a finalist and look forward to the Awards Ceremony on 2nd November at Crown Perth. We get to rub shoulders with previous winners, this year’s winners and finalists. It should be a great night!
